Help middle and high school students recognize bullying, tell it apart from everyday conflict, and safely step up as upstanders, in person and online. This bullying prevention unit for grades 6-12 is a ready-to-teach 5-day plan for National Bullying Prevention Month in October, and it works just as well any week of the year. Facts come from the federal StopBullying site (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) and PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, and every scenario uses made-up names, so no student is ever singled out.
