Teach laundry step by step with a life skills unit teens actually respect. Students sort laundry, read real US care label symbols, use a washer and dryer, hand-wash and air dry, fold a T-shirt, towel and pants, treat stains and do laundromat math with quarters. Leveled pages (Level 1, 2 and 3), sorting and sequencing cards and two task-analysis data sheets make it ready for special education, transition and FCS classes.

How to use it

Teach it as a 10-session unit in life skills, special education, transition or FCS, or pull single pages for stations and independent-living practice. The visual guides work at a real washer and dryer or on their own. Level 1 tasks use pictures and basket numbers; Level 3 tasks ask students to explain their choices and solve multi-step money and time problems. Low prep: print, then cut the sorting and sequencing cards.
