Life skills task boxes built for teens, not little kids. This set of 10 functional skills task card sets gives middle and high school special education students real-world practice they can do on their own: counting money, next dollar up, telling time, reading a calendar, safety signs, menus and receipts, sorting, personal information, daily routines and measuring. Every set comes with a box label, a recording sheet, an IEP data sheet and an answer strip, and every card has exactly one correct answer.

How to use it
This is a low prep resource: print the card pages on card stock, cut the cards apart and store each set in its own box or zip bag with its label, recording sheets and answer strip. The cutting takes some time once; after that the boxes are reused all year. Use them in independent work stations, para-led small groups, morning work or as quick IEP probes. Every card shows its set and card number, so mixed-up cards go straight back to the right box.
